I know this probably won't work. I've tried it before and, for some reason, things just don't seem to gel the way they should.
But i keep hearing the same talk amongst my friends and colleagues which amounts to, "We need to be able to get in touch with each other. We need to share data, kills, collaborate if we want, but there's no single venue."
This is an attempt to create that venue.
Sure there's a lot of crap up relating to my work but, in theory, there will be lots more up that relates to all of your amazing projects. You are INVITED to start such threads. Don't abuse it, of course, but, absolutely, use this place to advertise and discuss your ongoing and upcoming products.
CRITICS, feel free to pst your reviews. If you want designated editorial threads for your stuff, let me know and I'll give you a region all your own. In fact, expect a critics corner to appear soon, just for that purpose.
ARTISTS, post your work. I can't say it more simply. Post links to your deviant page, to your own websites, all that. Just keep some of the discussion of some of that stuff here.
WRITERS, do the same as the artists.
FANS, COMMENT. DISCUSS. Make requests, ask probing questions.
Make this place churn and we'll have that thing we all say we want.
Don't and I'll just figure out some other thing to try.
